Project Overview

Indorama Egypt Fertilizer Project represents a transformative step in Egypt’s industrial and agricultural future.

Spearheaded by Indorama Corporation, a global leader in petrochemicals and fertilizers, this ambitious initiative is set to establish a state-of-the-art phosphate fertilizer plant in Ain Sokhna, in partnership with Phosphate Misr Company.

With an investment ranging between $500 million and $550 million, the project aims to harness Egypt’s rich phosphate reserves—particularly from the AL Beiny of Red Sea Mines, one of the largest in the world—to produce high-quality fertilizers for both domestic use and export. The plant will play a pivotal role in supporting Egypt’s economy positioning the country as a regional hub for value-added chemical products.
